Maddie Lacambra is an active dancer, teacher, and aspiring choreographer in the greater Los Angeles area, who endeavors to tell a personal narrative through art and performance. She is currently represented by Go 2 Talent Agency.

Maddie holds a BFA in Dance Performance from Chapman University, with a double minor in Musical Theater and Health Science. She has had the privilege of working with industry professionals in the dance, music, and acting industries. Her professional credits include a variety of films, live performances, and concert work. She has worked closely with choreographers such as Will Johnston, Julianne O’Brien, Steven Sofia, Wilson Mendieta, Talia Favia, Chaz Buzan, Karen Chuang, and had the pleasure of being involved with Justin Giles’ SoulEscape. In the Summer of 2019, Maddie traveled to Israel and trained with Batsheva Dance Company, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance, and Vertigo Dance Company. She has taught and choreographed at numerous studios around Texas and California, and enjoys getting to foster an encouraging environment for artists to explore movement and individualism.

 

Maddie is constantly working towards a creative career that allows her to be both a creator and performer that pushes boundaries and challenges artistic norms. When Maddie is not dancing you will find her painting, surfing, or on the hunt for the best vintage finds.
